AI is a major topic where you are trying to build a connection between AI and data science. Without exaggeration, AI touches every discipline - chemistry, physics, biology, social science, mathematics- which all produce data or principles for understanding data. AI becomes a tool for researchers in all these domains to do their jobs or a vehicle for them to ground their work on applications that can impact all walks of life and become the engine for the economy. AI deserves a university-level foundation. There is a need to investigate and explore how to nurture and further advance AI, and there is a need to train the next generation of workforce proficient with AI to advance the economy. Society needs to explore such new opportunities to secure a future for growth and development. AI has the potential to advance this function and deliver such results.

His Excellency Askar Mamin, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, and senior delegates visited Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), the world’s first graduate-level, research-based artificial intelligence (AI) university. SEHA, MBZUAI to Collaborate on Clinical Research
Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), the largest healthcare network in the UAE, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), the world’s first graduate-level, research-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) university, to integrate the use of AI into the provision of medical care, enhancing clinical expertise and elevating the patient experience.

MBZUAI and Weizmann Institute of Science establish joint AI Program
Following on from the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) and the Weizmann Institute of Science (WIS) in September 2020, the two institutions have announced the establishment of the MBZUAI-WIS Joint Program for Artificial Intelligence Research (the AI Program). The new program will promote collaborative initiatives in fundamental artificial intelligence (AI) research and will explore AI applications in domains such as healthcare, genomics and more.
