DESCRIPTION:We look forward to welcoming you to the second iteration of our Research Showcase\, where our students and postdocs will be presenting cutting-edge research across all MBZUAI disciplines\, exchanging ideas and networking amongst faculty\, industry visitors and fellow students. This will be facilitated through short oral presentations and poster sessions. \nWe are also excited to host a special keynote speaker\, Michael Bronstein who will give a research talk titled: “Geometric Deep Learning: from Euclid to Nobel”. \nSee our full program below:\n\n\n \n\n\n9:30 AM – 10:00 AM\nArrival & Refreshments\n10:00 AM – 10:15 AM\nOpening Remarks (TBD)\n10:15 AM – 11:15 AM\n\n            Poster Session #1\n            Students and postdocs will present and engage about their posters in a small group setting\, to showcase innovative AI research projects being done at MBZUAI.\n        \n11:15 AM – 12:30 PM\nStudent Oral Research Presentations\n        Five students/postdocs have been selected to showcase their research via 15-minute presentation format.\n        \n12:30 PM – 1:30 PM\n\n            Buffet Lunch\n        \n1:30 PM – 2:30 PM\n\n            Poster Session #2\n            Students and postdocs will present and engage about their posters in a small group setting\, to showcase innovative AI research projects being done at MBZUAI.\n        \n2:30 PM – 3:30 PM\n\n            Keynote Talk by Michael Bronstein: “Geometric Deep Learning: from Euclid to Nobel”\n        \n3:30 PM – 4:00 PM\nAwards Ceremony & Closing Remarks from Prof. Tim Baldwin\, Provost\n4:00 PM – 4:30 PM\nLight Bites & Networking\n \n\nGallery\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n \nOur first ever Research Showcase was held on December 5\, 2024.
